Punjabi Sangathan is engaged for betterment and progress of the entire Punjabi Samaj bringing them together on one stage for infusing more unity, brotherhood and prosperity to make them strong - socially and economically. This shall help them more to serve the nation with more vigour and zeal to keep alive their traditions to be always in first row of making sacrifices for the nation.
The initiative to form the National Front for Punjabi community was taken in the year 1995.Shri Suraj Lal Sahani, Shri Rajpal Bhatia, Shri Kishan Lal Pahwa, Shri M.N. Sachdeva, Shri Madan Lal Arora, Shri Dua ji are the founders and has made hard efforts to form this front. Today Nagpur, Jabalpur, Raipur, Bhopal, Ranchi and Agra are the Six zones of Rashtriya Punjabi Mahasangh, which are working on the objectives of the organization of "Parichaya Sammelans", "Samuhik Vivah" social welfare in form of various camps held in the nation. Rashtriya Punjabi Mahasangh is also making good efforts in providing the awareness of Low Cost Marriages, Anti-Dowry system etc. The main Aims and Objects of the Mahasangh are enunciated below :-

Betterment and progress of the entire Punjabi Hindu Samaj, bringing them on one stage for infusing unity, brotherhood and prosperity to make them strong - socially and financially.
To help Punjabi Hindu Samaj to serve the nation with more vigour and enthusiasm, to keep alive their traditions of always making sacrifices for the nation.
As a result of migration of Punjabi Families after partition of the nation, the Punjabi language has been found dwindling as it is rarely spoken within the Punjabi Families and by the Punjabi community residing outside Punjab. The Mahasangh shall endeavour to create environment in such a manner that the Punjabi Families and Community at large are persuaded and tempted to again adopt the Punjabi language with pride in their conversation and communication as a matter of routine. Mahasangh shall frame and implement policies and methods for keeping alive the "Punjabi Language".
Engage in social welfare activities like organizing "Parichaya Sammelan", "Samuhik Vivah" etc.
To provide matrimonial assistance to Punjabi Samaj by functioning Marriage Assistance Bureaus and operating Matrimonial Website.
To provide awareness of and encourage low cost marriages, anti-dowry system, marriages of widows etc.
To uplift the downtrodden and weaker section of the Punjabi Community.
To establish Correction Centers for the misguided persons of the Punjabi Community.
To layout norms and procedures for celebration of various social, religious and cultural events of Punjabi Community.
To encourage the constituent Member Associations to spread the tint and flavour of Punjabiat and goodwill of Punjabis in the society.
To encourage the constituent Member Associations to establish Old Age Homes in their respective areas.
To assist various Punjabi Hindu Associations in India to achieve the aims and objects of their organizations.
To provide a platform for mutual co-operation and co-ordination among various Punjabi Hindu Associations in India.
To provide awareness against of ill-conceived notions, traditions and behaviours found in the society.
Publish a social magazine at national level.
To establish and operate Educational Institutions, Health Services, Financial Institution etc.
To take suitable measures for promotion of Sports.
